The World’s Largest Free Streaming TV Library Adds New Slate of Movies, Including 50/50, Mud, All Is Lost, The Possession and Much Ado About Nothing

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – February 27, 2017 – Tubi TV, the largest truly free Internet TV network with no subscription fee requirement, today announced a new slate of March movies. These audience favorites join the largest free collection of premium and unique movies and TV shows available anywhere, featuring Oscar-winning movies, Emmy-winning TV shows, classics, family and kids content, telenovelas, Korean dramas, stand-up comedy, horror and much more.
This month on Tubi TV, we’re getting two thumbs up with recent critical favorites joining the service. New arrivals include 50/50 (2011) starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen, Jeff Nichols’ Mud (2012) featuring Matthew McConaughey, Oscar nominee All Is Lost (2013) with Robert Redford, Life of Crime (2014) featuring Jennifer Aniston and Tim Robbins and Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing (2012).

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dirty Dancing (1987), Tubi TV will have both the original and its sequel, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (2004) for just one month. Fans can quote–or dance–along with the ‘80s classic or enjoy the early starring role from Rogue One’s Diego Luna in its follow-up.

Horror movie lovers will have no shortage of scares this month. The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan stars in recent creeper The Possession (2012), while Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson and Alison Pill make audiences laugh and scream in horror comedy Cooties (2014). Saw II (2005) and Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses (2003) will please those brave enough to push play.

Viewers can also experience a variety of films with women behind the camera. Kasie Lemmons made her directorial debut with the emotional family drama Eve’s Bayou (1996), while Bonnie Hunt made hers with the crowd-pleasing Return to Me (2000). Miss Julie (2014) demonstrates both director Liv Ullman’s talent, as well as that of star Jessica Chastain.

Woody Allen fans return to the director’s early work with Broadway Danny Rose (1984), Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (1972) and Love and Death (1975). In another nostalgic offering, five films starring Pam Grier also arrive in March: Black Mama White Mama (1972), Coffy (1973), Foxy Brown (1974), Scream Blacula Scream (1973) and Sheba, Baby (1975).
