Livin' for Love: The Natalie Cole Story
Drama · Music
Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole narrates her own reenacted life story, depicting memories from her childhood to her Grammy sweep in 1991, during which she performed virtually with her father, the late Nat King Cole. After an unconventional upbringing as the famed singer's daughter, Cole was rocked by his death as a teenager. Starting her own career proved challenging, but through her resilience she persevered, scoring such hits as "This Will Be" and "Inseparable" in the 1970s. However, the pressure of the Cole surname caused Natalie to lose nearly everything to drug addiction, forcing her to kindle her career all over again.
