In Los Angeles, the roots of community frustration trace back to the Covid lockdown, the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, and even further, decades further, to the LA Riots. In this limited edition documentary series, in new interviews conducted coast to coast, we trace the timeline of the critical moments which led to a MOVEMENT never to be forgotten.

S01:E01 - That Year We Will Never Forget
In the midst of a once-in-a-century pandemic, a video goes viral showing the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police. Within days, outrage, and protests, spread nationwide.
S01:E02 - The Wild, Wild West
In the days following George Floyd’s killing, protests erupt across the country, including Southern California’s Fairfax and Santa Monica areas. Amidst the chaos, two protesters stand up to looters they fear may jeopardize the cause.
S01:E03 - You Have the Wrong Person
As the National Guard is deployed throughout Los Angeles, memories of the 1992 LA riots are brought to the fore. 30 years later, one Good Samaritan who lived through the riots, finds herself mistakenly targeted by police.
S01:E04 - A Lot More Work to Go
As protesters call for an end to police brutality, the debate over policing heats up. For some, the answer is improved training and accountability, for others, the solution is defunding, or the abolishment of law enforcement altogether.

A year after George Floyd's killing, a jury finds Derek Chauvin guilty, but has justice been served? A year later, does Congress have the political capital to pass police reform? A year later, where does a new generation of activists go next?
