Harry and Margo Sloan, an attractive couple in their mid 30's, have returned to the Fairview Inn, a place where their love once flourished. It's been nine years since their last blissful weekend there and the hotel hasn't changedbut they have. An overcast sky lends an air of Gothic doom to this otherwise picture-perfect hotel nestled on a cliff.
