Another one of the classic UK UFO sightings. In the early hours of 27th December 1980, radar at RAF Watton in Norfolk picked up an uncorrelated target that went off the screen in the vicinity of Rendlesham woods. In the years that followed the incident, rumours began to circulate about what had actually happened at Rendlesham woods that night. But only when UFO expert Robert Todd obtained an official report of the events under the freedom of information act did the truth finally come out.
