The Kangaroo Gang: Thieves by Appointment follows the aftermath of the gang’s golden run. After 1972, with police hot on their trail, most of the gang dispersed into Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Many would face regular stints in jails around the world over the next two decades. During the 70s and 80s, the gang's leader, ‘The King’ Arthur Delaney did jail time in France, Denmark, Spain, Belgium and England, but he never gave up his dream ofcapturing the greatest prize in London. Asprey of Bond St, the jeweller to the Queen, was more than just a shop. It was a symbol of English wealth and achievement. Determined to be forever remembered as the King of Thieves, Delaney hatched a plan to rob this icon of style and luxury.
