CHEUK YUK is the president of the large investment company Brainman Group and he is elected as the alchemist of the financial sector consecutively. CHEUK YUK attends a media interview cheerfully. CHI NGA, police officer from the Commercial Crime Bureau, dislikes his interview on TV very much. Her team leader CHOW SUN-YUNG also dislikes him. WONG SHIU-LUNG, director of Brainman Group, is captured by the police but he tries to shift the blame to CHEUK YUK. Police inspector HO SHEUNG-YEE, SUN-YUNG's supervisor, assigns people to carry out investigation at Brainman Group. CHEUK YUK cooperates with the police and he chats with SUN-YUNG. In fact, CHEUK YUK's ex-wife is SUN-YUNG's deceased younger sister. TSUI KAM-FAT is the stock analyst of the Group. All colleagues look down upon him but CHEUK YUK values him. He even accompanies CHEUK YUK to answer media's enquiries. SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE are lovers. SUN-YUNG wants to marry SHEUNG-YEE but SHEUNG-YEE rejects him by saying that she wants to focus on her career. SHEUNG-YEE's younger brother SHEUNG-HING is married but he is not a stable man. He asks SHEUNG-YEE to support him in setting up a business but SHEUNG-YEE rejects him. CHAI PUI-FUN, president of the Stock Market Advisory Committee, calls for a meeting with the vice president SIN CHO-WAI to discuss about CHEUK YUK's matter. CHO-WAI seizes the chance to say bad things about CHEUK YUK in front of PUI-FUN. On the other hand, CHO-WAI also says bad things about PUI-FUN in front of CHEUK YUK for he wants CHEUK YUK to support him in becoming the next president of the Committee...

S01:E01 - Episode 1

CHEUK YUK's ex-wife CHOW SUN-LAI was suffering from acute disease and she needed to take medicine on time everyday. One day, CHEUK YUK returned home late because of work and he failed to deliver the medicine to SUN-LAI on time. SUN-LAI died eventually and SUN-YUNG hates CHEUK YUK deeply because of this. The Commercial Crime Bureau finally discovers the suspect who transferred money to SHIU-LUNG's bank account. When they try to capture the suspect, they are being attacked by others and SHEUNG-YEE is almost injured. SHEUNG-YEE discovers that an accounting firm is involved in the case. She asks SUN-YUNG and CHI NGA to carry out investigation there. CHEUK YUK is believed to be involved in a business fraud case and the market price of Brainman's stock drops. Reporter YUEN SHEUNG-HIM is very aggressive. CHEUK YUK appreciates him very much and offers him exclusive news. CHEUK YUK discovers that someone is buying the company's shares when the price drops and he believes that CHO-WAI has done it. CHEUK CHI-YIN is CHEUK YUK's younger sister. She maintains good relationship with SUN-YUNG and she hopes that he could reconcile with CHEUK YUK one day.

S01:E03 - Episode 3

CHEUK YUK dates with his wife FONG MING-YU at a private club house. CHI NGA is singing there and she impresses the couple remarkably. SHEUNG-YEE's subordinate CHU KWOK-LEUNG discovers that CHEUK YUK is having a close contact with a China government official's son LAW TSUN-KEI. SHEUNG-YEE carries out further investigation with her team immediately. She discovers that CHEUK YUK is receiving cash from TSUN-KEI. She suspects that those are black money and she captures them immediately. However, she later discovers that TSUN-KEI is innocent. CHO-WAI learns that CHEUK YUK is not getting along well with TSUN-KEI. He tries to please TSUN-KEI and he successfully convinces him to sell Brainman's company shares to him. In order to raise money and fight against CHO-WAI, CHEUK YUK calls for a shareholders' meeting but CHO-WAI arrives as well. During the time, SHIU-LUNG suddenly changes his statement and reveals that CHO-WAI is the person behind the scene. SHEUNG-YEE immediately asks her subordinates to capture all of them...

S01:E04 - Episode 4

CHO-WAI has committed crime and PUI-FUN kicks him out of the Stock Market Advisory Committee. The vice president is missing and CHEUK YUK recommends himself to PUI-FUN. Instead of giving him an answer, PUI-FUN asks CHEUK YUK to handle a large-scale government charity construction project. CHEUK YUK discusses the matter with his team and everybody believes that PUI-FUN wants to test his capability. SHEUNG-YEE and the others are upset that they fail to find any supportive evidence to sue CHEUK YUK. SUN-YUNG is very angry and CHI NGA consoles him. SUN-YUNG reveals his past resentments on CHEUK YUK to CHI NGA. CHEUK YUK starts promoting the construction project and he attends media interview with SUN-YUNG's mother LO SEI-MUI. CHEUK YUK has been taking care of SEI-MUI for many years and SEI-MUI treats him as her family member. SHEUNG-YEE and SUN-YUNG return home to discover that SHEUNG-HING is being cheated...

S01:E05 - Episode 5

MING-YU tries hard to help CHEUK YUK. She eventually buys some important information of a China government official from the reporter SHEUNG-HIM. CHI NGA knows that CHEUK YUK is troubled by the charity construction project. She steals some important information from the Commercial Crime Bureau for him and she tries to shift the blame to SHEUNG-FEI. With the help of the two women, CHEUK YUK gets rid of the complaints from the Councilors and public successfully. CHEUK YUK believes that he will become the committee's vice president but he fails eventually and he feels that PUI-FUN has used him. PUI-FUN meets SUN-YUNG again while walking her dog. The two of them were lovers long time ago. SHEUNG-FEI loses some important information and the police carries out investigation on her. CHI NGA tries to take the blame for her and SHEUNG-FEI is very ashamed. SHEUNG-YEE believes the CHI NGA has stolen the information and she questions her but CHI NGA stands strong...

S01:E06 - Episode 6

CHI NGA decides to quit her job. SUN-YUNG persuades her to stay but it doesn't work. SHEUNG-FEI feels ashamed after learning about it. MING-YU discovers that CHEUK YUK is very upset because of PUI-FUN and she wants to give PUI-FUN a lesson. MING-YU organizes a charity ball with CHI-YIN and she invites PUI-FUN to join. She bribes PUI-FUN's dance teacher secretly and asks him to take video of PUI-FUN being raped during her practice. Luckily, SUN-YUNG arrives to rescue PUI-FUN and PUI-FUN invites him to the charity ball. SUN-YUNG had dated PUI-FUN in their younger days and they almost got married. SUN-YUNG is worried about SHEUNG-YEE and he finally reveals his past story with PUI-FUN to her. CHI NGA invites CHEUK YUK to meet up privately. She reveals that she has lost her job because of him and she asks him to lend her money for investments. CHEUK YUK wants to test her ability and he agrees swiftly.

S01:E07 - Episode 7

CHI NGA tells SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE that she is going to work for Brainman. SHEUNG-YEE feels that people will misunderstand her but SUN-YUNG thinks that they should respect CHI NGA's decision. The person in charge of a mainland China water project wants to raise funds though an IPO but PUI-FUN objects the idea. Aiming to gain recognition in the committee, CHEUK YUK decides to support the project and he asks CHI NGA's boss to handle it. SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE learn that a company is cheating money by pyramid selling scheme. While carrying out investigation, they discover SHEUNG-HING there. The water project will damage the environment and some environmental protection groups start a protest against it. The company's representative from mainland China meets up with CHEUK YUK and reveals that CHI-YIN's name is one the supporter list of the environmental protection groups. CHEUK YUK returns home to question CHI-YIN and they end up in discord. The mainland China representative WONG CHING-WAH is MING-YU's ex-boyfriend. MING-YU worries that her secret will be disclosed...

S01:E08 - Episode 8

While trying to hide away from CHING-WAH's attack, MING-YU is injured and CHI NGA drives her home. CHI NGA asks MING-YU to tell her the truth so that she could help her. MING-YU finally reveals her past story with CHING-WAH to CHI NGA. CHI NGA develops a new idea for the project but her boss takes it to get all the credit. SHEUNG-HING earns money from the stock market and he persuades his mother to mortgage their property so that he could get more money for investment. CHI NGA's boss meets up with SHEUNG-YEE secretly for they are old friends. SHEUNG-YEE learns that SHEUNG-HING is being cheated once again and their property is mortgaged to the bank. SHEUNG-YEE is totally shocked and she runs away. MING-YU feels that CHING-WAH is unbearable and she finally accepts CHI NGA's help. CHI NGA meets up with CHING-WAH on the yacht privately. She tries to provoke him so that CHING-WAH will fight against her. After carrying out her plan, CHI NGA swims to the shore alone and she meets CHEUK YUK...

S01:E09 - Episode 9

CHI NGA finally gets a chance to check out CHEUK YUK's personal computer. When she tries to steal the data, CHEUK YUK suddenly returns. PUI-FUN learns about SHEUNG-YEE's difficulty from KAM-FAT and she tries to help her. SHEUNG-YEE is very upset and she believes that SUN-YUNG has told PUI-FUN everything and SUN-YUNG feels bad. CHEUK YUK goes out with MING-YU. After getting the information from CHI NGA, SUN-YUNG tries to report it to SHEUNG-YEE but he fails to contact her. SUN-YUNG worries that he will lose the chance to capture CHEUK YUK and he goes to CHEUK YUK's place alone. After receiving a call, CHEUK YUK and MING-YU change their plan. MING-YU meets up with the mainland China government official alone. SHEUNG-YEE is also carrying investigation but SUN-YUNG suddenly appears. SHEUNG-YEE blames SUN-YUNG for ruining her plan. SUN-YUNG accompanies PUI-FUN to walk her dog but PUI-FUN's dog is suddenly sick. SUN-YUNG accompanies PUI-FUN and they stay outside for the whole night.

S01:E10 - Episode 10

CHEUK YUK has made use of CHI-YIN's friend and CHI-YIN starts a cold war with him. CHEUK YUK recalls the time when he lost CHI-YIN on the street long time ago. CHI NGA tells MING-YU that a magazine has made a wrong report of CHI-YIN's farm. MING-YU thinks that this will be a good chance to amend CHI-YIN's relationship with CHEUK YUK. The water project has got a breakthrough. CHEUK YUK and MING-YU appreciate CHI NGA's talent very much and they decide to assign more important tasks to her. PUI-FUN learns that CHEUK YUK's project is almost ready and she decides to procrastinate it by making use of her president role in the committee. SHEUNG-YEE reveals to SUN-YUNG that CHI NGA is suspicious but SUN-YUNG trusts CHI NGA and they end up in discord. CHEUK YUK and CHI NGA go to play car racing together. CHI NGA is in danger and CHEUK YUK rescues her. When they are taking a rest, CHEUK YUK reveals his background to CHI NGA. CHEUK YUK's secretary reveals to MING-YU that CHI NGA and CHEUK YUK have left office together...

S01:E11 - Episode 11

SUN-YUNG, CHEUK YUK and KAM-FAT used to be in the same football team long time ago. Aiming to fulfill their old football coach's dream, CHEUK YUK invites SUN-YUNG to form a football team again and join the football match together. SUN-YUNG doesn't want SHEUNG-YEE to misunderstand him so he tries not to tell her that he is meeting up with CHEUK YUK. However, SHEUNG-YEE misconceives that SUN-YUNG is meeting up with PUI-FUN. SUN-YUNG accepts CHEUK YUK's invitation and he arrives at the football court. CHI NGA also arrives to support CHEUK YUK and she learns about his past story from the coach's wife. MING-YU reveals that CHEUK YUK is promoting his Elderly Scheme. SUN-YUNG believes that CHEUK YUK is making use of their coach and he starts a quarrel with him. The coach is very nervous with the fight and he suddenly has a heart attack. In order to gain recognition, CHI NGA introduces "C Coin" concept to CHEUK YUK and CHEUK YUK is very interested in it but MING-YU is indifferent. On the other hand, CHEUK YUK provides PUI-FUN's past evidence of corruption to SUN-YUNG...

S01:E12 - Episode 12

SUN-YUNG keeps finding new evidences proving that PUI-FUN has corrupted and he doesn't know what to do. SUN-YUNG thinks over the case carefully and he finally decides to meet up with PUI-FUN. CHEUK YUK invites CHI NGA to meet up at the villa and he presses her against the sofa. CHEUK YUK finally invites CHI NGA to handle the "C Coin" project. HO-MING reports the case to SHEUNG-YEE and SHEUNG-YEE finds CHI NGA even more suspicious. Everybody in Hong Kong is investing on "C Coin" but PUI-FUN and CHEUK YUK are not supportive at all. Some ICAC officers arrive to capture PUI-FUN for investigation. SUN-YUNG finds evidence to prove that PUI-FUN is innocent and he tries to carry out further investigation in China. However, SHEUNG-YEE stops him from going for she has other important tasks for him. SUN-YUNG wants to save PUI-FUN desperately and he ignores SHEUNG-YEE's order.

S01:E13 - Episode 13

SHEUNG-YEE is scolded by her supervisor for SUN-YUNG fails to carry out his duty. SUN-YUNG apologizes to SHEUNG-YEE but SHEUNG-YEE believes that SUN-YUNG values PUI-FUN more and she wants a separation. On the other hand, CHEUK YUK concentrates fully on "C Coin" project and he spends less time with MING-YU. MING-YU is very upset. When CHI NGA returns to office, she discovers that somebody has sneaked into her room to steal her computer data. CHEUK YUK's staff asks her to visit the security room and she realizes that HO-MING has entered her room before. SHEUNG-YEE asks KWOK-LEUNG and SHEUNG-FEI to carry out investigation on CHI-NGA but the two of them do not believe that CHI NGA will commit crime. KWOK-LEUNG and SHEUNG-FEI go to drink at the pub. They end up sleeping together. KAM-FAT suggests SUN-YUNG to pursue PUI-FUN once again but SUN-YUNG rejects him instantly. After learning that SHEUNG-YEE has separated with SUN-YUNG, PUI-FUN persuades SHEUNG-YEE to reunite with SUN-YUNG.

S01:E14 - Episode 14

CHI NGA performs well on the "C Coin" project and CHEUK YUK trusts her very much. He even invites her to join the company's advisory group and MING-YU is upset. SUN-YUNG overhears SHEUNG-YEE's conversation with her boss and he feels that SHEUNG-YEE values her job more than him. SHEUNG-FEI suggests SHEUNG-YEE to pretend that she is moving out in front of SUN-YUNG. However, when SHEUNG-YEE says that she will move out, SUN-YUNG has no objection at all. SHEUNG-YEE is making preparation for her promotion interview but SUN-YUNG fails to see her on the interview day. SHEUNG-YEE has overslept and her car is out of order. She doesn't know what to do and SUN-YUNG arrives to help her. CHI NGA tries to steal information from Brainman's computer database and she is shocked to discover that HO-MING has logged in to the database as well. MING-YU believes that CHI NGA is a spy. She captures her secretly to question her and torture her.

S01:E15 - Episode 15

CHI NGA is dying and CHEUK YUK arrives to rescue her. MING-YU is very angry and jealous. SHEUNG-YEE is absent for the promotion interview and her colleagues tease her. SUN-YUNG cannot bear it and he starts a quarrel with them. After leaving the hospital, CHI NGA decides to disclose HO-MING's matter to CHEUK YUK for she wants to gain his trust again. After learning that CHEUK YUK is monitoring HO-MING, SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE rush to protect him. SHEUNG-YEE reveals to SUN-YUNG that HO-MING is her spy and SUN-YUNG is very disappointed with CHI NGA. HO-MING enters the hospital and CHEUK YUK promotes CHI NGA. SUN-YUNG arrives at Brainman to question CHI NGA. CHI NGA cannot bear the blame and she finally reveals her father's identity to SUN-YUNG...

S01:E16 - Episode 16

In order to support SUN-YUNG, CHI NGA steals the information of "C Coin" from CHEUK YUK's computer for him. SUN-YUNG shares the information with SHEUNG-YEE but he tries not to reveal CHI NGA's identity to her. CHEUK YUK sends CHI NGA a residential unit and he asks her to return to the company. CHI NGA learns that MING-YU doesn't want her to return and she decides to talk to her directly. Everybody is investing in "C Coin". Encouraged by KAM-FAT, KIU persuades all neighbors to invest in "C Coin" as well. Even though MING-YU objects it, CHEUK YUK still invests a lot in "C Coin" and MING-YU believes that he supports it fully because of CHI NGA. CHI NGA's plan is entering the final stage and she decides to leave Hong Kong afterwards. CHI NGA's mother has died and she hesitates if she should crack the system of "C Coin". In fact, CHEUK YUK has discovered everything already...

S01:E17 - Episode 17

CHI NGA falls down from the cliff. CHEUK YUK reports the case to the police and asks them to send her to the hospital. SUN-YUNG cannot bear to reveal CHI NGA's real identity to CHEUK YUK and CHEUK YUK hesitates. SHEUNG-HIM reveals CHI NGA's plan to everybody. SHEUNG-YEE and KWOK-LEUNG realize that they have misunderstood CHI NGA. On the next day, CHEUK YUK takes the initiative to visit the Commercial Crime Bureau to provide information of "C Coin" to them. SUN-YUNG suspects that CHEUK YUK wants to shift the blame to CHI NGA and he is very angry. "C Coin" drops drastically. KIU and all neighbors are losing a lot of money. All of them try to question KAM-FAT. All the investors of "C Coin" set up a union and they try to seek help from PUI-FUN. CHEUK YUK visits PUI-FUN with the cracking program of "C Coin". He threatens PUI-FUN to recommend him to be the vice president of the committee.

S01:E18 - Episode 18

CHEUK YUK spends a lot of money to invite the famous brain specialist to treat CHI NGA. CHEUK YUK becomes the vice president eventually. He wants to accelerate the approval procedures on foreign companies' listing application by means of partnership but PUI-FUN tries to prevent him for succeeding. KIU wants KAM-FAT to start anew and she persuades all neighbors to forgive him. CHEUK YUK spreads rumors on the Internet and the bank owned by PUI-FUN's family is in financial crisis. People defame PUI-FUN for violating the rules to help her elder brother. CHI-YIN discovers that CHEUK YUK is very down because of CHI NGA. She therefore helps him to take care of CHI NGA at the hospital and she gets to know SHEUNG-HING. MING-YU is very jealous for CHEUK YUK devotes most of his time on CHI NGA and she goes to the hospital to threaten CHI NGA. CHI NGA doesn't want MING-YU to harm her friends and she runs away. CHEUK YUK discovers that CHI NGA has gone and he questions MING-YU.

S01:E19 - Episode 19

The reporters keep making up stories on PUI-FUN. CHEUK YUK seizes the chance to suggest dismissing her from the president role. SUN-YUNG hopes to reconcile with SHEUNG-YEE and he tries to please her in every ways. The Commercial Crime Bureau starts carrying out investigation on PUI-FUN's case. SUN-YUNG is smart and he eventually finds the one who spread rumors. CHI NGA suffers from brain disease and she arrives at Peng Chau alone. She has no where to go and she is very ashamed as well. She decides to abandon herself without getting in touch with any of her friends. MING-YU always wants to have a baby but she fails. She discovers at the clinic that SHEUNG-YEE is pregnant unexpectedly. She encourages SHEUNG-YEE to cherish the baby. SHEUNG-YEE and SUN-YUNG are getting married. In order to celebrate with them, PUI-FUN invites them to dinner but she is captured by somebody on her way home. SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE find it suspicious that PUI-FUN is late. SUN-YUNG tries to look for PUI-FUN alone by car. PUI-FUN is trapped in a car filled with toxic gas and SUN-YUNG rescues her on time.

S01:E20 - Episode 20

SHEUNG-YEE learns that PUI-FUN is sent to the hospital and she goes to visit her. However, she discovers that PUI-FUN is hugging SUN-YUNG tightly in the hospital. PUI-FUN's elder brother is monitored by the police while receiving treatments in the hospital. CHEUK YUK visits him and he asks CHEUK YUK to help fulfilling his wish. KWOK-LEUNG discovers from the Internet that a mysterious pretty lady has appeared in Peng Chau. They go to Peng Chau for a search but CHI NGA discovers them. SUN-YUNG visits CHI NGA's father's grave alone and he suddenly receives a call from CHI NGA. CHI-YIN meets SHEUNG-HING at the restaurant again and they chat with each other happily. PUI-FUN's elder brother commits suicide and PUI-FUN organizes a funeral for him. PUI-FUN meets her nephew YAT-SING again at the funeral. PUI-FUN hopes that her elder brother would rest in peace and she invites YAT-SING to manage their family business...
