It transpires that not all vampires and slayers are abiding by Vlad’s initiative for peaceful co-existence which has been agreed in a treaty set up between the Vampire High Council and the Slayers Guild. Vlad and his gang are patrolling the streets to ensure there is “no biting, no slaying” but inevitably there are always renegades flouting the rules.
