Jack Petty, an insurance man, goes to Cuba only to have his world turned upside down. He befriends Harry Smith, a writer with a taste for trouble. Jack wakes up the next morning to discover a dead man in a bathtub and instructions to kill. With nowhere to turn and nothing but danger in his path, Jack needs to stay one step ahead to get out of Cuba alive.
