Gabe's old friend, Lyle Flanagan, comes for a visit, which reminds Gabe of his all too humble position as a teacher.

After receiving his failing midterm report card, Barbarino asks brainy Judy to tutor him.

A new student arrives at Buchanan and all the Sweathogs want her attention; however, she only has eyes for Gabe.

Horshack is promoted to a higher class and everyone, including Horshack, wants him to stay with Gabe and the Sweathogs.

Gabe has trouble adjusting to being alone when he learns that Julie is going skiing for the weekend with a girlfriend.

The Sweathogs are against serving liver in the cafeteria, so Gabe suggests they have a 'sit-in' to protest.
