Miserable Sister Dominic returns from the hospital to find that Anna is still away. Meanwhile, Hal accompanies Anna to a wool auction to buy a suitable stock for traditional yarns.

An elegant figure boards the shuttle train to London, painfully aware of the stares she receives from men.
