Gary pleads with Terese to understand why he went to Paul for help instead of her when he believed Sheila was responsible for Hamish’s death. He’s expecting her to be angry, but discovers she’s just plain hurt and disappointed that he went to the man who tried to split them up rather than trust the woman he loves. After a second attempt to convince her fails, Piper has a heart to heart with her mum. Gary did what he did to protect Terese from involvement in what has turned out to be an ugly case. She should forgive him. He’s a keeper. Relenting, Terese, perched on a camping chair, meets with Gary in Ramsay Street and proposes they kick-start their relationship again with a mini-honeymoon camping trip to the Peninsula. She’s booked everything. Is he up for it? Gary’s stoked. He can’t get there fast enough.
