Sho, Makoto y Arthur se acercan al Castillo Imperial, sede del Equipo X, pero son emboscados. Son salvados por Koei y Gabu que llegan para su rescate. Se retiran una vez para idear un plan coordinado para acercarse al campamento enemigo a través de tres rutas, pero nuevamente Gabu intenta robar el partido.
