A struggling model thrown into depression by marital troubles and a major loss, Maia hopes that a session with prolific photographer Francesca Allman will rejuvenate her career. During the session, Francesca builds confidence in Maia but has to control her own obsessive desires. As they spend more time together, Maia becomes an object of Francesca's obsession and things slowly spiral out of control.
