Dr. Christian Troy enjoys the perks of a successful practice that he has shared with his best friend, Dr. Sean McNamara. But things turn deadly when a Colombian drug lord arrives.

At Sean's insistence, Christian agrees to hire a staff psychologist. However, the male candidate they choose is no more ethical than Christian.

Christian is furious when Sean agrees with Grace, now the in-house psychologist, regarding a woman's desire for extensive surgery to look beautiful for her high school reunion.

Christian tries to persuade Sean to go into business with a pornography production company whose performers need cosmetic surgery. But the arrangement soon causes problems.

Sean and Christian interview a potential patient who wants his eyes to look Asian to be accepted. Meanwhile, Sean suspects domestic abuse when he notices scar tissue on a patient.

When Christian's prized possessions are vandalized, he tries to contact the women he has wronged in the past to find the culprit. He continues to ponder his behavior towards women.

When Julia finds Matt having sex with two women, she demands an intervention with the girls' parents. Julia also clashes with Sean regarding how to parent Matt.

While driving his friend Henry home, Matt looks away from the road and strikes a girl, throwing her out of sight. The boys don't realize that they've hit a pedestrian and leave.

Christian accompanies his girlfriend, Kimber, to a spa where they encounter rival plastic surgeon Merrill Bobolit. Eager to break up with her, Christian agrees to a hideous deal.

An error during surgery causes Christian to lose his confidence immediately before he and Sean must take a surgical test for recertification by the medical board.

Christian and Sean discover a woman's being used to carry drugs into the U.S. in her breast implants, and a drug lord blackmails the doctors into handing over the implants.

In the season finale, drug lord Escobar Gallardo's demands that Sean and Christian perform free operations nearly force McNamara/Troy into financial ruin.
