MING-FUNG says that she is the deceased CHING-LAN. KAM-KUK stuns her. MING-FUNG forgets everything when she wakes up. CHOR-YAT says that she was possessed by ghost. KAM-CHO explains to PAK-HANG that PAK-SHUI will offer him 50 silver dollars after her sacrifice and he can use the money to marry a wife and have kids. KWAI-SZE and SHUI-FUNG suspect that CHOR-YAT is possessed since she goes out with scissors in red wedding gown. They follow her silently. When CHOR-YAT wakes up, she forgets everything as well. SIN-CHI sticks exorcism symbols at every corner of the house and KAM-KUK decides to whip the dead body of CHING-LAN so that she will not return anymore. WAI-MING begs KWAI-SZE to rescue PAK-HANG. SHUI-FUNG begs KAM-KUK to cancel the practice of sacrificial burial but KAM-KUK rejects him. KWAI-SZE decides to write a letter to the town to accuse the villagers for murdering women. SIN-CHI invites SHUI-FUNG to chant for her and she refuses to let him go afterwards. This is because KAM-KUK has captured KWAI-SZE for public hearing.
