With Sasha back at the dance school, she and Fanny have to deal with The Ringer ballerina who was brought in to replace Sasha as Clara in Fanny’s yearly production of The 'Nutcracker.' Meanwhile, Fanny’s plans to spend some quality time with Michael at a cabin get quashed when he buys a house for himself in Montana. Having been given more responsibility in running the dance school, Michelle organizes a fundraiser event and helps with the hugely important Nutcracker production while helping the girls solve their personal problems, until one mistake threatens to leave Fanny no choice but to reject Michelle completely and permanently.
