When MacGyver becomes intertwined in a scheme to stop Chinese slave labor, he discovers that he has a son, Sam, who is also interested in bringing the fall of the man behind it all, Chung Tai. Sam's motivation differs from MacGyver because Chung is the murderer of Sam's mother.
