Off the back of Adrian’s threat, Ben wonders if it could have been a bluff, but Tyler is under no illusion about the danger he is in and he comes clean about everything to Piper. Not wanting to hurt Piper by trying to seduce another woman, Tyler develops a plan to find out if Mrs. Verity Banks is involved with anyone else. Piper accompanies Tyler to the Waterhole, watching from a distance (with Ben) as Tyler begins his covert operation. Tyler is unable to glean the information he needs from Verity and when she invites him up to her room, he agrees to go to see if he can find evidence of another man, despite Piper’s concern. But when he gets there, Verity reveals that she’s well aware Tyler is playing her, her husband has sent numerous men after her to do the same thing. When she becomes aware of Tyler’s real name, she reveals that Mark was the reason that Banks ended up in prison in the first place. Tyler becomes extremely worried about what this will mean for when he gets to prison. But Toadie comes through with some surprising news; someone else has confessed to killing Hamish. Tyler won’t be going to jail. Piper happily relays this message to Tyler. But the question remains: who has come forward?
