Sophisticated banker CHEUK YAT-YUEN’s father CHEUK SUNG-HEI has been missing in Sabah for one year and a half. YUEN misses him miserably. His wife HO TSEUK-NIN gives him some words of consolation. TAI WING-LUK, the general manager of YUEN’s bank, goes to YUEN’s house to inform him their staff have sent clients’ safe deposit boxes to a metal recovery works by mistake. YUEN calls on an emergency meeting with his little sister, Director of the bank’s Corporate Department, CHEUK YAT SUM, and KO TOK-MAN, the Operations Director. YUEN rushes to the recovery works as soon as he learns that his father’s deposit box is one of those discarded. MAN suggests sacking the manager involved, but a staff member points out that the manager is a relative of TUNG TIN-CHUK, the Co-Chairman of the bank. YUEN gets a call from Sabah suggesting him to stop the search for his father. SHEUNG HOI-MEI has returned from her overseas vacation. CHUK tells her YUEN has stopped searching for HEI.
