Cleopatra: 2525

(Part 1 of 2) Hel (Gina Torres), Sarge (Victoria Pratt) and Cleopatra (Jennifer Sky) receive a distress call from beneath the ocean and Voice orders the trio to locate the signal source. Using a mini-sub, they dive into the ocean but are soon disabled by a series of shock waves. An inescapable current pulls the sub to a gleaming underwater city encased by pressure domes. After docking, the trio is met by a group of people led by Schrager (Stephen Lovatt) and his brother Granger (Rupert Cocks). Granger explains that their civilization's ancestors were members of a revolutionary environmental group that built an undersea lab to deter industrialization from ravaging the oceans as it did the surface of the Earth. That lab eventually grew to become a peaceful underwater colony. Schrager attributes the distress call to malfunctioning equipment. Granger takes Hel, Sarge and Cleopatra to some guest quarters to wait while their sub is repaired. He later tries to convince his brother that maybe it's time they emerge from their closed-off world to see other civilizations. Schrager opposes this notion and insists that Hel, Sarge and Cleopatra can never leave.
