Paul asks Amy to do him a favor by offering Jayden Warley a job on the new housing project, and Amy’s appalled. What happened to their deal, whereby Paul would allow Amy to have total autonomy? Paul is forced to explain the dilemma he’s found himself in, regarding Sue Parker’s threats to expose the lowball deal that was struck with the previous owners of the homes that were bought for the housing development. Amy begrudgingly agrees to grant Jayden an interview, and when she meets Jayden, he fails to make a good first impression. As he talks about his life, Amy can’t help but feel sorry for him, however, and she later tells Paul she’s decided to give Jayden a go... Paul’s delighted until Amy lays down her conditions... Once the new houses are sold, A my wants Paul to agree to share some of the profits with the previous owners, so as to compensate them for the money they lost out on first time round.
