The Forgotten Valley

Seven women meet at the temple. CHING-CHING scolds MING-FUNG for reporting MAN-YEE's misbehaviours and MING-FUNG insists that MAN-YEE is the person who harmed SIU-SUEN. The granduncle invites all villagers for a meeting. He complains that HOK-MAN's education style is ridiculous and he proposes to kick him away. TUNG-YEUNG celebrates his daughter MIU-MIU's birthday and he asks her to wear the clothes of his deceased wife KUEN-KUEN. When MIU-MIU is gone, TUNG-YEUNG asks PAK-HANG to wear KUEN-KUEN's clothes as well. He recognizes her as KUEN-KUEN by mistake and he carries her to his bed. WAI-MING is angry with TUNG-YEUNG's behaviours. Together with KWAI-SZE, they beg HOK-MAN to bring MIU-MIU to town so that they could find a sister to keep her. KAM-KUK accuses HOK-MAN for taking the female student away and he should be punished by throwing stones at him. Auntie SAN's granddaughter and a group of primary students arrive to protect HOK-MAN and MIU-MIU. All the women are heartbroken that their children are being attacked by stones and they scold their men angrily. HOK-MAN persuades his students to return home but all the children insist to stay.
