Saya continues to stew. Kai tells her that he knows what she is. He suggests that Saya read Joel's Diary. Saya meets Joel at the HQs of the Red Shield. Saya starts reading the Diary and finds out about the past of the Zoo. She learns about the plot by Joel Goltschmitt and Anshel Goldsmith, about the two cocoons retrieved from a mummy found in Iceland and the twin babies that came out of the cocoons and were brought up separately. She also learns about the "Tragedy." As she reads on, she learns that she is the one who caused the atrocity in Vietnam.
