Tubi Kids

Limited Feature Availability: At this time, Multiple and Kids Accounts and related features are not generally available and may only be available on limited platforms, in certain regions, and to participating users. Please stay tuned for announcements about when Multiple and Kids Accounts will be available to you. At Tubi, you should be able to create the best viewing experience for you and your family. We offer two great ways to ensure your children are watching age-appropriate content: Tubi Kids Accounts and Tubi Kids Mode. Here’s the difference: A Tubi Kids Account is a separate space on Tubi that you create and control for your child, with its own settings and viewing history. Tubi Kids Mode is a quick way to temporarily switch the entire Tubi experience to a kid-friendly viewing environment. Let's break down how you can use these features.
What is a Tubi Kids Account?
What is a Tubi Kids Account? A Tubi Kids Account is a separate space on Tubi that you create and control for your child so they have an age-appropriate experience tailored to them. It is linked to and supervised by your Tubi Account. By creating a Kids Account, you are confirming you are the parent or legal guardian of the child who will use it. You are in control of your Kids Accounts. You can: Set Them Up Quickly: Sign into your Tubi Account on any supported device to give your child access to their Kids Account. Choose What They Watch: Set the age rating ("Age Rating 10-12" or "Age Rating 4-6") that is most appropriate for your child. Control Access: You will be asked to provide your password to increase content settings. You can also set a 4-digit PIN to secure your Kids Accounts. Monitor What They’re Watching: View your child’s watch history and change settings anytime to manage their experience. Edit or Delete your Kids Accounts at any time.
What is Tubi Kids Mode?
What is Tubi Kids Mode? Kids Mode is the fastest way to hand your device to a child, knowing they will only see content from our family-friendly Tubi Kids library. Instant Age-Appropriate Viewing: One click on the Tubi Kids button is all it takes to switch to Kids Mode, whether you’re a guest or signed in. No Account Needed: It’s a great option for guests or whenever you don’t need a separate Kids Account. Exiting Kids Mode: To exit Kids Mode, you’ll be required to confirm you're an adult by either entering your selected password (or PIN) or passing the appropriate age gate.
How do I create a Tubi Kids Account?
How do I create a Tubi Kids Account? From the "Who's Watching" screen, select Add Account. Choose the For Kids option. You’ll be prompted to sign into your main Tubi Account, which will manage the new Kids Account. Follow the on-screen steps to name the account and choose the content settings that are right for your child. We highly recommend setting a password or PIN to control access. Tips You can create up to 8 total accounts, including both Tubi Accounts and Kids Accounts, per device.
Set or Change a PIN
Set or Change a PIN A 4-digit PIN is a simple way to control switching between accounts. We strongly recommend that you set a PIN, but you can also choose to unlock switching out of your Kids Accounts by turning off the PIN. Log into your Tubi Account. Go to Account Settings and select Content Settings. Choose a PIN and follow the prompts. You will need to enter your account password to create or change your PIN.
Manage Content Settings
Manage Content Settings You can change the contents settings for any Kids Account at any time. Log into your Tubi Account and go to Account Settings. Select Content Settings and choose the Kids Account you wish to manage. Raising the content settings (Younger Kids → Older Kids) will require your account password.
Signing in to a Kids Account
Signing in to a Kids Account To use a Kids Account, the parent must sign into their Tubi Account first. Once you sign into your Tubi Account, all of your linked Kids Accounts will be available for use on that device. Kids Accounts are only available when the parent’s Tubi Account is signed in. Just log out of your Tubi Account to prevent any access to your linked Kids Accounts on that device.
How to Delete a Tubi Kids Account
How to Delete a Tubi Kids Account You can delete any of your Kids Accounts anytime. Log into your Tubi Account. Go to Account Settings and select Content Settings. Select Manage Kids Accounts and choose the Kids Account you’d like to delete. Delete the account and confirm with your password.
What happens if my child tries to create their own Tubi Account?
What happens if my child tries to create their own Tubi Account? Tubi Accounts are for individuals who meet local age requirements (for example, 13 or older in the United States). If someone below the required age attempts to register, we do not create the account or retain their registration details. Instead, for their protection, we direct them to the age-appropriate experience of Tubi Kids Mode.
Kids & Ads
Kids & Ads Tubi is free, but it’s supported by advertising. We take extra steps to protect privacy when it comes to Tubi Kids Accounts and Tubi Kids Mode: We do not ask for personal information like age or gender to set up a Tubi Kids Account. We don’t build an advertising profile based on information collected from a Tubi Kids Account or Kids Mode. The ads your child sees in a Tubi Kids Account or Kids Mode are based on your content settings and the content they are watching (contextual advertising), not on an advertising profile.
