For Janet Flanders (Jordan Ladd, "Grindhouse"), love and life are a dream world. Unfortunately, it's her lovers who end up living a nightmare. In her sleepy town, the 23-year old Janet lives at home where her room is still adorned with dolls, romance novels and teen magazines. But her innocent demeanor belies the troubled mind of a sexual predator who is not about to let a little thing like reality interfere with her plans for a happy ending. In looking for an excuse to end his relationship with Janet, Jerry Singleton asks his friend Brett Becker to sleep with his lover. But Brett's brief dalliance with the disturbed woman only serves to set this frightening story in motion. In no time, Janet ends her affair with Singleton on her own grisly terms, and turns her attention to Brett. Suddenly, Brett finds himself being stalked and harassed by an obviously unstable woman. In her mind she has created romantic evenings, vacations and marriage plans that will never be realized. And when she learns that Brett is about to marry a prominent heiress, Janet is left with little choice to protect her fantasy. On trial for the murder of Brett's new bride, Janet's well-concocted dream world provides a sufficient alibi as the finger of blame suddenly begins pointing at the bereaved widower Brett. In the end, he is caught in a bizarre and terrifying tale, as she is free to move on to another chapter in her fairy tale existence.
