Drama
The future paths of several lives intersect on a dark highway late one night when a car crash sets into motion one man's fight for recovery, another man's cry for help and a parent's seemingly futile search for justice. Suffering a severe head injury that has left him powerless and fragile, Andrew Stone must slowly pick up the pieces of his life. An honors college student, Andrew was a passenger in a car sideswiped by a young man with a history of drunken driving. Watching her son struggle to regain his life, Terry Stone is not about to let the accused drunken driver use his family's influence and wealth to escape justice once again. But for Andrew, retribution and sympathy are not what he's seeking; he's in search of recapturing his lost past and once promising future. In his battle to regain the person he once was, Andrew and his family pull together, each taking a different route to help them heal the physical and psychic wounds of this tragic experience. In this tale of hope and despair, strength and weakness, the lessons learned are not always so obvious to the naked eye. There are times when a person needs to fall before he can finally rise, and sometimes justice is best served when forgiveness is granted.
