Park Life: Munich

Meadows, groves, artificial lakes and winding paths: the centuries-old layout of the English landscape garden still makes city dwellers happy. The Englischer Garten in Munich and other large city parks are the consequence of our longing to be close to nature - and thus perhaps to a world in which everything seems just a little bit easier.
