Akira and Ryo are average high school students…until they learn that Ryo’s scientist father has accidentally opened a gate to hell, unleashing a horde of demons! The demons spread like a virus, possessing ordinary people and turning them against each other. When Akira is possessed, he becomes Devilman; but somehow he retains his humanity. It’s up to Devilman to crush the demonic forces.
