William is alone in hiding in a country cottage on the edge of a vast woodland area. Isolated and tortured by the horrific past events that have brought him to this point and the reoccurring visions of Chantelle|the woman he loves|William remains hidden out of sight|only venturing out into the woodlands every day to take raw meat to a mysterious creature that is locked inside a shed. As insanity begins to creep in|William cannot tell what is reality|flashbacks or hallucinations. One minute he is with Chantelle having a romantic getaway|the next he is alone and haunted by strange noises and howling coming from out in the woods. When he ventures into the local village and sees his face on a newspaper|reality comes back into focus for a short while. William receives a call from an unknown friend who helped him escape to the country after a night of extreme violence and he discovers there is a nationwide manhunt for him. Later|a Visitor who is familiar to William appears to him in the night|telling him he must deal with the thing that is out in the woods for the good of everyone. William cannot tell if this is reality or a dream. After William takes another walk through the woods|he is stalked by sinister figures that are badly scarred and covered in blood. He runs back to the house where Chantelle turns up|seemingly unaware of what has happened and acting like everything is normal|but neither of them can remember the last time they were together. Chantelle stays with William for a few days and everything seems normal until she disappears from their bed in the middle of the night. William goes out looking for her and finds the creature has escaped from the shed and it chases him back to inside the house where he manages to hide in the bathroom undetected. William becomes more and more feral and wild as he struggles to cope with the uncertainty of what is going on. He receives another phone call from his mystery friend and discovers that the creature inside the shed is Chantelle transformed|and they both brought her to the country to escape authorities after a violent rampage in London. Later that night|the Visitor comes to William once more and tells him to kill the creature before the next full moon. William reluctantly takes a gun from inside the house and goes to the shed where the creature is sleeping. He shoots it several times|killing it. It changes back to the human form of Chantelle. William goes back to the house completely broken|where he is greeted by the Visitor. He tells him to use the gun once more as William was scratched by the creature when they first brought it to the countryside and that he will transform if he doesnt take his own life. William goes to use the gun on himself|but before he pulls the trigger|he transforms into a werewolf.
