Digimon Adventure tri (Subbed)

It's been several years since their adventure, and Taichi Yagami is now living peacefully as a high school student. However, one day during his soccer match, a Kuwagamon appears! With his memories of that time still vivid, Taichi chases after it.

Taichi can’t do anything before the raging Kuwagamon, but just then, a familiar figure appears! Together with his old friend, Taichi stands up against the Kuwagamon!

Taichi was somehow able to drive back the Kuwagamon by borrowing Agumon's strength, however, Odaiba suffered severe damage. He starts to worry about the negative public reactions towards Digimon.

An incredibly powerful enemy appears before Taichi and his friends as they’re surveying Odaiba! Their Digimon are being defeated one after the other, but Taichi continues to hesitate even though he's left with no choice but to fight.

As Odaiba's reconstruction continues, at Mimi's suggestion, the DigiDestined and their partner Digimons go to a local hot spring theme park to hold a welcome party for their new friend Mei, though Joe doesn't join them. They enjoy the brief time-off.

An Infected Orgemon appears in Odaiba! While wanting to prove there are good Digimons, Mimi's decision to ignore Koshiro's non-engagement order causes unexpected consequences. As she's feeling down, Joe, unable to join in the fighting, shows up.

The school festival finally begins, though Mimi's unsure about participating. However, upon listening to Mei, she regains her composure. Meanwhile, Joe, still unable to shake his hesitation, finds out Gomamon ran away and is at school festival...?!

During the school festival, Meicoomon is captured by the enemy and even Imperialdramon turns up, though Gomamon and Palmon are finally able to achieve the ultimate evolution. Taichi and his friends were relieved to get Meicoomon back safely, but... ?!

Meicoomon's transformation into an evil beast before disappearing into the distortion leaves a deep impact on Meiko. Koshiro minces no words expressing his fears over the Digimon infection spreading to the real world, which only causes her further pain. Nishijima and Himekawa both know the truth behind what is happening, however they aren't being completely honest with the DigiDestined. Going on the information he knows, Koshiro continues furiously typing away on his computer.

Unable to get over the shock of everything that happened, Meiko has pretty much stopped going to school, but with Sora's encouragement she somehow manages to pick herself back up. However, the infection is now starting to spread to everyone else's partner Digimons... Realizing this, Takeru takes Patamon away from the other Digimons, though he is powerless to do anything to stop the infection. Meanwhile, all across the planet mysterious messages are being transmitted from the Digital World.

Patamon confides about being infected to Agumon and the rest of the Digimons. As everyone is still shaken up from the news, Hikari suddenly appears before them. She's not at all herself, but through her the Digimons are informed of a way to stop the infection... though the reality of the situation is a shocking one. The Digimons decide to hide the truth and instead peacefully spend time together with their partners. Then, Koshiro finally discovers a clue as to what caused the infection!

Meicoomon had vanished into the distortion, but appears in Odaiba! Agumon and the rest of the Digimons all fight to stop Meicoomon, but Takeru holds Patamon back, revealing to Taichi and the others that Patamon is infected. During the battle, the infection slowly starts eating away at the other Digimons. Koshiro manages to work out a desperate countermeasure, but...!

With the reboot of the Digital World, it seems peace has come to the planet. Although cities are gradually being rebuilt, Taichi and the gang are unable to accept reality. Koshiro, however, turns to his computer to try and find a way to move forward. Seeing this, Takeru decides to pay Meiko a visit. Finally, at long last, the kids wind up rallying around Taichi and decide to go to the Digital World!
