The Fledglings

The Fledgings disrupt two friends from the world beneath the ground while out trekking through the veldt in the savannah. The Fledglings see creatures who fly, and are also determined to fly. While playing hide and seek, Teena gets stuck in a blob of honey. A large "saucer" like object hovers above. The Fledglings find refuge under a thorn tree on a scorching hot day. The Fledglings appreciate the sounds around them on a beautiful morning in the savannah.

The Fledglings watch Momma carry a calabash on her head and now everyone wants to be just like Momma. Teena finds a very special fluffy seed while exploring. The Fledglings encounter a puddle while out for a stroll. While building a mountain of stones, the Fledglings discover that one stone is MUCH different to all the others. The Fledglings are building berry pyramids when one by one their pyramids disappear. After a bout of laughter, the Fledglings start hiccupping uncontrollably.

Teena discovers that crying makes all her siblings pay attention and starts milking it. Benji finds a cape and decides that he wants to be “SUPER FLEDGE", a superhero saving everyone from danger. Benji is rudely awakened by a mosquito during nap time. Bea and Teena fall in love with a grass blade, and arguing over who gets to keep it. After the rain, a rainbow comes out and the Fledglings set chase across the savannah to find it. The Fledglings encounter a speeding dragonfly and try to keep up with it.

The Fledglings are enthralled by a dung beetle they meet in the road. The Fledglings play leap-frog over calabashes when suddenly it starts raining. Momma returns with berries to find that the Fledglings have left a big mess. The Fledglings wake up to a new sound in the savannah: a "SQWUAAAAK". On an outing with Momma, the Fledglings encounter a large pothole, stopping them in their tracks. Momma and Aubrey try to get the Fledglings to eat and finally give up. The Fledglings chase a leaf in the wind.
