Kiri

Kiri is a young black girl in the process of being adopted by a white family when she goes missing on a visit to her birth family.

While the backlash against Miriam grows, Tobi is wracked with guilt about his role in Kiri’s death and determined to find his son Nate - the prime suspect in her murder.

Alice goes on the offensive after DI Mercer tells her and Jim there’s new evidence in the case which means charging Nate will be difficult.

DI Mercer is forced to make a charge. Tobi supports his son, while Miriam takes her fate in her own hands and Alice’s devastation gets the better of her.
