Green Room is crashing into Tubi soon

Jeremy Saulnier’s punk-rock survival thriller turns one locked door into a full-body stress test.

Remind Me

Some thrillers feel like they were built to test your pulse. Green Room is one of those. Jeremy Saulnier’s 2015 pressure cooker drops a punk band into the wrong venue, at the wrong time, with the wrong people waiting on the other side of the door.

This is lean, mean independent filmmaking with no interest in giving you a comfortable exit. The setup is simple, the tension is immediate, and the room itself starts to feel like a trap with a feedback pedal plugged in.

Green Room arrives on Tubi soon. If your watchlist has room for something sharp, violent, and wound tight, start clearing space.

The Cast

Anton Yelchin

Yelchin plays Pat, the band member trying to think clearly while panic keeps tightening the walls. He brings a raw, human fear to the movie, the kind that makes every choice feel improvised in the moment and painfully real.

Imogen Poots

Poots plays Amber, the person in the room who understands exactly what kind of danger everyone is facing. She gives the film a sharp survival instinct, cutting through chaos with a stare that says she has already done the math.

Patrick Stewart

Stewart plays Darcy Banker with a calm that is more chilling than any raised voice. He is not playing a cartoon villain here. He is controlled, patient, and convinced that every horrible decision is simply part of doing business.

Macon Blair

Blair plays Gabe, the man caught between procedure, fear, and the machinery around him. His presence gives the club a lived-in menace, like this nightmare has rules everyone else already knows and the band is learning too late.

“No one leaves the room until the room lets go.”

Why Watch It

Green Room earns its reputation by doing the ruthless thing well. It takes a stripped-down premise and keeps tightening it until every sound matters, every glance feels loaded, and every plan seems one second away from falling apart.

The movie is also a rare chance to see Patrick Stewart turn quiet authority into something genuinely menacing, while Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, and the rest of the ensemble keep the fear grounded. Nobody feels untouchable here, which is exactly why the tension hits so hard.

This is for horror fans who like survival stories with teeth, thriller fans who want momentum over speeches, and anyone who appreciates a movie that knows exactly how long to keep you trapped. Green Room is coming soon to Tubi.
