Go Into Lowlifes Blind. Thank Us Later.

A remote overnight stay becomes the kind of nightmare that makes locked car doors feel like a 5 star hotel.

Watch Now

Horror fans love one thing almost as much as a good scare: telling someone, “Don’t look it up. Just watch it.” Lowlifes is that kind of movie.

The Tubi Original starts with a family road trip gone wrong and a creepy remote homestead, but the less you know going in, the better. Let’s just say it has twists, bite, blood, and the exact kind of nasty little surprises that make a horror movie fun to recommend.

This is not the movie to half-watch while scrolling. This is a “pause the group chat, lock in, and start side-eyeing everyone on screen” kind of watch. It is messy in the best way, mean when it needs to be, and clearly made for horror fans who hear “remote house in the middle of nowhere” and immediately know the vibes are off.

The Cast

Amanda Fix

Fix's Amy is one of the reasons Lowlifes keeps you guessing. Amanda Fix brings a restless, unpredictable energy that makes her feel like she knows more than she is saying, which is exactly the kind of vibe this movie thrives on.

Matthew MacCaull

MacCaull gives Keith the kind of intensity that makes you instantly alert. He moves through the story with a confidence that feels a little too comfortable, and in horror, that is rarely good news.

Brenna Llewellyn

Llewellyn’s Savannah brings bite, tension, and a grounded edge to the chaos. She helps make the movie feel like a trap you are trying to figure out in real time.

Richard Harmon

Harmon makes Vern instantly watchable and instantly suspicious, which is exactly where Lowlifes likes to live. He adds just the right dose of charm, tension, and bad-news energy.

“Come on in. We’ve got a bed, a meal, and absolutely no normal vibes.”
