Resident Evil: Apocalypse unleashes chaos on Tubi soon
Alice returns for a bigger, meaner outbreak with zombies, soldiers, and Umbrella trouble closing in from every side.
Remind MeResident Evil: Apocalypse is the sequel that takes the franchise out of the mansion and throws it into full-city panic. The first Resident Evil built the trap. This one kicks the doors open, floods the streets with the infected, and lets Alice become the action-horror icon she was born to be.
Milla Jovovich is back as Alice, and the movie understands the assignment: bigger creatures, heavier weapons, more Umbrella wrongdoing, and a sealed-off city where survival is measured in seconds. It is sweaty, loud, neon-dark fun with video game DNA running straight through its veins.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse is coming soon to Tubi, which means it is time to make room on the list before the outbreak arrives.
The Cast
Milla Jovovich
Jovovich returns as Alice with the exact energy this sequel needs: fast, focused, and very done with Umbrella’s experiments. She moves through the chaos like someone who has already survived the nightmare once and refuses to let it set the rules again.
Oded Fehr
Fehr plays Carlos Olivera as a soldier with a conscience, which matters when the mission starts looking less like rescue and more like damage control. He brings grit, steadiness, and a sharp action-movie cool that fits the city-under-siege setup perfectly.
Mike Epps
Epps gives the movie a jolt as L.J., a survivor whose humor never makes the danger feel smaller. He is the guy saying what everyone is thinking while still trying to stay alive, which is a very useful skill during a zombie outbreak.
Jared Harris
Harris plays Dr. Ashford with a haunted urgency, adding a human pulse to the corporate horror around him. In a movie built on gunfire, monsters, and lockdown panic, his character gives the disaster a more personal reason to keep moving.
“If the city is locked down, we fight our way out.”
Sneak Peek
Why Watch It
This is for anyone who likes their horror with combat boots on. Resident Evil: Apocalypse leans into the pleasure of a sequel that knows people came for motion, monsters, and Alice facing down impossible odds with zero patience for corporate coverups.
The hook is simple and effective: take the claustrophobic dread of the first film, then expand it into a citywide nightmare. The result has that early-2000s genre-movie charge, where practical grime, digital mayhem, and action set pieces all crash into each other in the best way.
Add it to your list if you want sci-fi horror that moves fast, looks grimy, and treats a zombie outbreak like both a survival test and a demolition derby. Resident Evil: Apocalypse is arriving on Tubi soon.
