Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse is coming for your watchlist
Friendship, merit badges, and full-throttle zombie chaos collide in this R-rated horror comedy.
Remind MeSome horror comedies arrive with a polite little wink. Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse kicks the door open wearing a sash full of survival badges and absolutely covered in undead trouble.
Christopher Landon's 2015 movie takes a very specific kind of teen friendship story and drops it into a full-on zombie outbreak, where scout skills suddenly become less quaint and much more useful. Knots, teamwork, quick thinking, questionable plans, all of it gets its moment.
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse is coming soon to Tubi, and it is exactly the kind of rowdy, R-rated horror comedy worth knowing about before it drops.
The Cast
Tye Sheridan
Sheridan plays Ben as the scout with the biggest conscience in the group, which gives the chaos a real center. He is the one trying to keep friendship, panic, and survival in the same tent, even when the night gets wildly out of hand.
Logan Miller
Miller brings restless, go-for-it energy to Carter, the friend most ready to ditch tradition and chase something louder. That impatience becomes fuel once the undead arrive, turning teenage frustration into survival instinct with plenty of nerve.
Joey Morgan
Morgan gives Augie the heart of the movie. He believes in the scout code more than anyone around him, and that sincerity makes every outrageous turn land with extra sweetness. He is the friend you want nearby when the campfire stories get real.
Sarah Dumont
Dumont plays Denise with the cool-headed confidence this group desperately needs. She is not here to babysit anyone, which is exactly why she works so well in the mix. Her presence shifts the team from panicked kids to unlikely zombie fighters.
“Pack the duct tape, earn the badge, save the town.”
Sneak Peek
Why Watch It
The hook here is pure mischief: a survival guide comedy where the most wholesome hobby on earth becomes the town's last line of defense. It has gore, jokes, teen anxiety, and the very satisfying sight of preparedness turning into power.
This is for horror fans who like their zombie movies loud, fast, and unserious in the right ways. The fun comes from how fully it commits to the bit without treating the characters like throwaways. The friendship matters, the scares have bite, and the jokes know exactly how far to push.
If your Tubi list could use something messy, funny, and built for a late-night group pick, keep an eye on this one. Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse is arriving on Tubi soon.
