From Maui's jungles to NYC runways, rescue dogs with rags-to-riches stories find their sparkle with help from those who saw their potential, leading to their happily ever after.

The mission of dog rescue knows no bounds, whether by plane, bus, or four legs. No trek is too long when it means bringing these dogs to their forever families.

Rescue dogs save lives too! Shelter dogs train for search and rescue, at-risk teens bond with dogs in New York, and a dog gives back to the woman who saved her in Oklahoma.

In Arkansas, dogs are rescued from overcrowded shelters. In New York, a shelter volunteer saves 20 fighting dogs. A blind dog is taught to navigate in Oklahoma.

We meet the Dowdy Ferry Animal Commission, led by Jeremy Boss, rescuing dogs from abuse. Romeo the husky recovers from an attack, while a teacher saves a dog thrown in a lake.

Tommy joins Bissell Pet Foundation at Franklin County Animal Control, partnering with Operation Freedom Ride to find forever homes. We meet Rowdy, a border collie, and pup Bailee.
