The stakes are high for Womack as he leaves his Malibu home for an exciting, emotionally charged journey across the country to visit the final four women's hometowns, where he receives some rude and unexpected awakenings. In Wichita, Kansas, Womack meets Jenni's family. While Jenni shows off her dance moves, she and Womack discuss a prickly topic: how his Austin business empire and reluctance to carry out a long-distance relationship might affect her Phoenix Suns dancing career. Jenni's mother, a hairstylist, gives Womack a thorough shampooing at her salon and grills him about his feelings for Jenni while he's trapped. As if that weren't enough, Jenni's father and grandmother continue the onslaught, taking turns putting Womack through the ringer. Womack then travels to Concord, California, for a day of boating on the lake with Sheena and her parents. The family loves Womack so much that Sheena's mother makes it clear that she is already planning the wedding. The day ends when Womack and Sheena escape to a hot tub for some alone time. Next, the Bachelor is off to Canton, Georgia, for a big, fat Greek greeting from DeAnna's family, complete with ouzo, music and dancing. Although her father, stepmother, brother and sister are there to party, there's one family member missing. In a touching moment, DeAnna introduces Womack to her mother -- who died when DeAnna was twelve -- through pictures. In Washington, D.C., Womack has a tumultuous confrontation with Bettina's disapproving family. Bettina's protective father is disappointed that Womack did not go to college, and her stepmother is concerned about Womack's bar business. When Womack and Bettina spend some quiet time at the Jefferson Memorial talking over the day's events, an argument ensues. Will this quarrel put their relationship in jeopardy? With four women left and only three roses to hand out, an emotional Womack makes one of the most difficult decisions of his life, sending one distraught, brokenhearted Bachelorette home in tears, as he prepares to take the final three women on fantastic overnight dates to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
