When Tom and Jessie are faced with mounting car repairs, they decide to get part-time jobs for reading week. But when both end up applying to the new mega-bookstore, they inadvertently become co-workers. Turns out working together is fun - covering for each others screw-ups, pretending not to be married, and even sneaking a little heavy petting in the stockroom. But the dream job becomes a nightmare after their shift supervisor makes Jessie Toms boss. The move results in a new kind of power struggle for the newlyweds, where Tom discovers work Jessie is way less fun than play Jessie.
