Debbie's back from boarding school and back with Sue and Gary, who are delighted, and the trio are back to their old tricks and their old haunts. But Debbie soon realizes it's not the same. She has to share her bedroom with Cheryl; her science teacher, Mr Candy, is marrying a pregnant Vicki and she may be back on the beach, but now she has to watch both Gary and Sue surf.

S02:E01 - Episode 1
Debbie, Sue, Gary and the Greenhills gang are back on the beach, but there's been a power shift. The girls are slightly older, slightly wiser. Sue has taken up surfing and Gary has become something of a leader. While he and Debbie are still going strong, Sue is still in want of a boyfriend, and Cheryl is in want of an abortion.
S02:E02 - Episode 2
Debbie is in purgatory. She's been sent to boarding school, separated from Sue, Gary and her family. Butnothing can keep Debbie and Sue apart for long and they become wildly inventive at staying in touch.Meanwhile, back in Cronulla, Sue enlists the help of Woody from her science class to tackle a very unusualtask - sexperiments.
S02:E03 - Episode 3
Despite their best efforts, the gulf between Debbie and Sue is widening and Sue is left pining, with onlyCheryl and Vicki to hang out with. But Cheryl is struggling with the unwanted attention of her mother's boyfriendand turns to Judy for help. Much to David's delight and Debbie's howls of outrage, Cheryl moves intoDebbie's room.
S02:E04 - Episode 4
Times are tough for Debbie and Sue. Trapped at boarding school, Debbie is outraged to discover that Cherylis living in her room, and Sue, not ready to make her "relationship" with Woody public, is forced to spendmore time with Cheryl and Vicki.
S02:E05 - Episode 5
Life at home for Gary is volatile: Yvonne is struggling with her grief and guilt over her lover Graham's accident and Gary is still apprehensive over the return of his father. But it is Gary's birthday and Debbie is determined she's not going to miss it. She slips out of boarding school to make the party, but she's not alone. When new friend Nancy tells Sue of the lies Debbie has been telling, Sue explodes with jealousy and promptly informs Debbie that Gary has rooted someone else.
S02:E06 - Episode 6
Debbie and Sue are fighting. With Debbie back in boarding school and in lockdown, the gulf betweenthem seems wider than ever. Debbie is paying dearly for running away to Gary's party and her reputationat school is in tatters. Sue wants to make amends but she's not quite sure how to go about it. Tomake matters worse, Sue's got her hands full with Woody, who's getting cockier about their relationship,making it harder to keep secret from the others.
S02:E07 - Episode 7
Things are tough in the Shire. Gary has finally had a gutful of his parents and moves out of home into theboatshed with Bruce. Roger experiences a father's worst nightmare when he walks in on Sue and Woodyconducting one of their sexperiments.

S02:E09 - Episode 9
Debbie and Gary are blissfully happy and in love, until they realise that Gary's friend Bruce has overdosed on heroin. It's the final straw for Debbie, who announces that she's had enough and threatens to fulfil her long cherished dream of running away to Byron Bay. Gary is only too happy to leave Cronulla and his own parents behind, but is Sue having second thoughts? She now has a lovely boyfriend in Woody, and her own family might be crazy, but they're crazy in the best possible way.
