Ami is shocked when she sees Mamoru coming out of his apartment with another woman.

Chibi-Usa befriends Miharu, who is aiming to be the best swordwoman in Japan.

Usagi spots Minako out on a date with a handsome man. She quickly gathers her friends to spread the news, when they see Minako being dropped off by her boyfriend. Much to everyone's surprise, the boyfriend is different from the one Usagi saw earlier.

An old woman named Mayako lives alone in a huge mansion. Mayako is very distrustful of strangers, especially men, believing they are after her wealth and fortune. Diana and Chibi-Usa eventually learn that Mayako is actually a kindhearted person who is just trying to protect the house full of her treasured memories.

News reports of Pegasus attacking the town cause Usagi and the other Sailor Guardians to have doubts about whether Pegasus can be trusted or not, much to Chibi-Usa's frustration. But the girls soon learn that it was a trap laid by Fish's Eye to lure the real Pegasus out into the open.

Usagi and her friends are enjoying their summer vacation by checking out boys at the beach. Shingo is also with them acting as their bodyguard—especially for Ami, whom he has a crush on.

Usagi and Chibi-Usa see an ad for a free ballet lesson for beginners and immediately sign up. As they clumsily practice, Fish’s Eye, who has also joined the lesson, draws the class's attention with his elegant dancing skills.

Usagi and Chibi-Usa meet a strange woman named Rubina who follows them around at the fireworks festival. Unbeknownst to the two girls, Rubina is a princess visiting from the Kingdom of Amethyst who snuck out to experience life outside of her royal duties.

Usagi and the girls are excited as they dress up to attend the school festival being held at Mamoru's university—particularly Makoto, who hopes to meet the man of her dreams. Her wish seemingly comes true as she is asked to dance by a handsome man, who is actually Tiger's Eye in disguise.

Fish's Eye goes after his next target, Mamoru. But despite his best efforts, Mamoru seems to show no interest in being with anyone besides Usagi, causing Fish's Eye to start questioning his own existence.

Zirconia threatens the Amazon Trio that if they don’t capture Pegasus by the next new moon, the magic making them human will wear off. Having failed at his last chance, a depressed Fish's Eye finds himself at Usagi's home, where he stumbles on the fact that Chibi-Usa is Pegasus's host.

Usagi and her friends go to see a show at the Dead Moon Circus, which suddenly appears in Juban District, and are entertained by all the amazing tricks they see. But then Momo, who also came along to see the show, starts acting peculiar and leaves the circus, causing Chibi-Usa to become worried.

Ami falls in love with a melody she finds online. She works on making lyrics that match the melody and also goes to meet the composer, Toshiyuki Nishino. However, upon meeting him, Ami finds herself hesitant to show him the lyrics she made.

Rei becomes famous after posing for a fashion magazine cover in her shrine maiden outfit. She then receives a visit from a girl named Nanako, who expresses her desire to study under Rei so that she can become a beautiful shrine maiden just like her.

Usagi and Chibi-Usa go to the dentist to get their cavities treated. Unbeknownst to the girls, the dental clinic is actually a trap set up by Palla-Palla to find Pegasus.

Minako and Makoto compete to win the heart of Honjo, a young principal who runs Honjo Preschool. But their rivalry starts to put a strain on their friendship.

Chibi-Usa’s school is having a sports day. However, one of its main events is jumping over the vaulting box, which Chibi-Usa is not very good at.

Chibi-Usa and Usagi befriend a struggling young painter named Kamoi at the park. Later, Kamoi is visited by Cere-Cere, who asks the young man to paint a portrait of her.

Chibi-Usa is curious to know why Pegasus is still reluctant to tell her where he really came from. But when she confronts Pegasus with the question, he disappears, causing Chibi-Usa to doubt their friendship.

Palla-Palla’s spell turns Sailor Chibi Moon into an adult and Sailor Moon into a child. At first Chibi-Usa is happy at her unexpected transformation, but her joy quickly turns into shock when she discovers that Pegasus can no longer hear her call for help.

The girls begin to suspect that Chibi-Usa is in love. Eager to know who the boy is, they try to get Chibi-Usa to talk, but with little success.

Usagi and her friends are doing volunteer work at Juban Civic Hall to help set up the stage for the Coming of Age Day ceremony. There, they befriend four young girls who are actually the Amazoness Quartet in disguise.

Strange spider webs begin to appear all across the Juban District. As the girls investigate, they notice that these webs are all originating from the Dead Moon Circus.

Nehelenia sets her plan in motion by starting a solar eclipse that will leave the world in eternal darkness. Learning of her goals, the Sailor Guardians storm the Dead Moon Circus to prevent that from happening.

The Dead Moon finally discovers that Sailor Chibi Moon was the one hiding Pegasus, and captures her. Brought before Nehelenia, Sailor Chibi Moon learns the history behind the Dead Moon's queen.

Nehelenia demands that Helios give up the Golden Crystal in exchange for Sailor Chibi Moon’s life. Meanwhile, the Sailor Guardians are struggling to defeat Zirconia, when they receive help from an unexpected ally.

Nehelenia regains her full power and proceeds to put the world into an eternal slumber. To stop her, Sailor Moon tries to activate the power of the Golden Crystal.

The Golden Crystal’s power defeats Nehelenia, pushing her back into the abyss where she was originally sealed in. Refusing to go alone, Nehelenia tries to take Sailor Chibi Moon with her. Now Sailor Moon must stop her before she loses Sailor Chibi Moon forever.
