Professor Balthazar

Amadeus, a citizen of Balthazar-City, had very good hearing. When there was a drought in the town everyone was desperately looking for water, but Amadeus, who was the only one able to hear water bubbling underground – suddenly went deaf: while swimming in the sea he had got some water in his ears and it just wouldn’t come out. Professor Balthazar invented a special device and succeeded in getting the water out of Amadeus’ ears, after which Amadeus was able to find water underground. But naturally, as is always the way, just at that moment it began to rain.
