After Paul’s impulsive suggestion to elope, he and Courtney arrive at the courthouse, only for Paul to hesitate. Determined to go through with the wedding, Courtney suggests Paul invite his kids and he does, stunning both Leo and Amy. While Amy is happy to attend, Leo is adamant the marriage is a mistake and is forced to tell Amy that Paul is only with Courtney to get back at Terese. Amy volunteers to try and talk Paul out of it and her pleas raise doubts in Paul’s mind. He finally admits to Courtney he worries they’re doing the wrong thing, but Courtney urges him otherwise and convinces him to enter the courthouse. Later, Courtney is confronted by Tim who, when he believes she got married is furious. Hurt and defiant, Courtney flaunts her wedding ring in his face, then regales Sonya, Toadie, Steph, Elly, Amy and Leo with the news. But it’s news that is not celebrated.
