The Simple Life

Paris and Nicole meet the Murrie family: Jessica and David and their children, six-year old Liam and Sean, who is almost two. Paris and Nicole’s main responsibility will be taking care of Sean. Jessica goes over a list of duties with the girls, which includes diaper changing, scheduled feedings, baths and nap time. As Sean’s second birthday approaches, Jessica asks Paris to plan a party and Nicole to host it. Jessica leaves for the day and Sean immediately starts crying. David swings into action, telling the girls that Sean is crying because he is hungry. He then presents the girls with a huge rubber bra with bottle nipples attached to the front. Paris and Nicole get strapped in and Paris manages to get Sean to drink a little milk, while Nicole ends up nursing her little dogs. David goes to work in his bike shop for a bit and leaves the girls in charge. Nicole takes Sean for a walk in his stroller and asks a stranger at a coffee shop to keep an eye on him while she leisurely sips a coffee and does a crossword puzzle. At bath time, David tells Paris that Sean is too little to bathe alone, so she will have to get in the tub with him. Paris suits up and climbs in the bath with Sean. Everything is going well until Sean decides to use the tub as a toilet, causing Paris to scream and jump out. For the birthday party, Paris settles on a princess theme. She hires a prince and princess, magician, clowns, and decorators to stage the perfect pink princess party. The next day, as the entertainers begin to arrive, Nicole declares that a princess theme is not right for little Sean. She sends everyone home and plans her own rock and roll party, with a band, go-go girls, a jump house and a red carpet with paparazzi! The kids are photographed and interviewed on their way in to enjoy shots of milk and dancing. While not exactly traditional, it’s a hit with kids and adults alike. David thinks both Nicole and Paris rocked but reveals that Sean may have liked Nicole better. Unsure about the appropriateness of go-go dancers, Jessica thinks Paris may have been a better mom for a day.
