Emergency!

Paramedics Gage and DeSoto (Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe) talk down a plane, piloted by 14 year-old Frankie Pierce, whose pilot-father has suffered a cardiac arrest and Dr. Brackett (Robert Fuller) becomes emotionally involved in the case. Dr. Brackett becomes irate when he realizes that the elder Pierce might die and that Dave Morgan, a psycho who attempted suicide in three different ways, will recover. Nurse McCall (Julie London) tries to temper Brackett’s anger. Gage and DeSoto rescue Jim Thompson from a gasoline tanker crash and back at Station 51, Gage wonders why he always loses at cards.
