Jeannette Nolan as Bernadine Spaulding, a stubborn 80-year-old with a sprained ankle, and Arnold Stang as Arthur Merkl, a hiccupping executive, are the guest stars. Paramedics Gage and DeSoto (Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe) find a female parachutist in a tree and a possible snake bite victim on a golf course. Drs. Brackett, Early and Nurse McCall (Robert Fuller, Bobby Troup and Julie London) pacify Miss Spaulding on her birthday, treat Mr. Merkl and administer to a possible heart victim.
