Paramedics Gage and DeSoto (Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe) are assigned to demonstrate their life-saving techniques to student nurses and Gage falls for one of them. Dr. Brackett and Nurse McCall (Robert Fuller and Julie London), aided by student nurse Ellen Bart, save the lives of Arthur Grey, shot in a holdup, and his wounded assailant. Dr. Early (Bobby Troup) treats a wino and Gage’s ego is deflated when Nurse Bart suddenly spoils his romantic plans.
