SING, who is half drunk, and MUI, force HEI to reveal her true relationship with HONG. HEI ignores them. MUI takes out a hand grenade. FUNG betrays HEI and reveals her secret. Trembling with fear, HEI goes see KWAN. To her surprise, MUI helps her keep the secret of who is HONG’s biological father. HEI cannot get it why she has to do. MUI explains she has come to realize nothing is as important as one’s family members after the eight-year war against the Japanese. It is CHING and YEUNG’s wedding day. Everybody at Chu Lung Lane has come. CHING invites MUI to act as their witness, the other being SING. The bride and groom offer a cup of tea to their witnesses. WAH follows KWAN to a gathering.
