A Fist Within Four Walls

In 1945, Kowloon Walled City is a no man's land with many gangsters ever since Hong Kong was ceded to other country. DUEN TUNG-TIN of Duen Style Baji decides to police the area with his apprentices. The villagers are attacked by the local tyrant. TUNG-TIN arrives to rescue them and he starts a fight with CHIU MENG-SHAN. They later discover that they have misunderstood each other and they fight against the local tyrant together. MENG-SHAN and TUNG-TIN become friends. He reveals that Chiu Style Baji and Duen Style Baji have been fighting with each other to determine who is the original master. TUNG-TIN suggests to have a contest with each other when Kowloon Walled City is in peace. In the late evening, the walled city is suddenly on fire. TUNG-TIN rushes into the place to rescue others but he fails to come out after a long time. In order to calm down TUNG-TIN's wife, MENG-SHAN enters the place to look for TUNG-TIN. After the fire, TUNG-TIN's younger brother discovers that MENG-SHAN has killed TUNG-TIN. MENG-SHAN denies it and he is willing to report the case to the police for investigation. Everybody in the walled city regards MENG-SHAN and his family members as enemies. They refuse to supply food and water to them. MENG-SHAN's wife SHUK-KUEN is very weak but she tries hard to maintain the family. People suddenly say that MENG-SHAN has escaped from the prison. TUNG-TIN's younger brother try to make a mess at MENG-SHAN's home with other villagers. In 1959, CHOR AU-KUEN goes to Kowloon Walled City alone to find his younger sister but he is cheated by BUT TAK-LIU.
